Increasing connectivity and forming large enterprises remains a challenge

Enterprises and entrepreneurs have actively contributed to industrialization and modernization towards sustainable development and improved competitiveness.

However, Mr. Hoa said that businesses still face many challenges, including too few large businesses that play a leading role in leading other businesses to change their production and business organization models in line with globalization trends.

Most businesses are still small and medium sized, with limited resources to compete in the big ocean.

According to Mr. Hoa, the ability to transform digitally and greenly for sustainable development and adapt to new market demands is still a big problem for businesses.

"Proactively investing in new technology, improving management capacity, strengthening connections between businesses, and creating conditions for the formation and development of large businesses to deeply integrate into the global value chain are still big challenges," said Mr. Hoa.

On this occasion, representatives of the city's businesses expressed their expectations for the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City in promoting digital transformation, improving traffic infrastructure, having policies to support businesses, helping businesses grow and develop sustainably...

Will design policies for private enterprises to participate more deeply in public investment

Sharing with businessmen, Mr. Phan Van Mai - Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee - said that the city government always accompanies businesses and businessmen in the production and business process.

According to Mr. Mai, the city will design mechanisms and policies for private enterprises to participate more deeply in public investment projects, traffic projects and investment projects according to Resolution 98.

At the same time, the city will research and build specialized industrial parks and concentrated information technology parks, giving priority to attracting domestic and city enterprises.

In addition, the city also has policies on interest rate support for key projects, supporting the development of city enterprises.
