At the announcement of the reality show Beauty Journey , People's Artist Hong Van appeared with a youthful, radiant appearance in a white ao dai and an elaborate bun hairstyle. The female artist said she felt more optimistic after losing nearly 15kg, so she confidently appeared at entertainment events.

She shared: "Before I lost weight, I didn't dare to appear much because I was self-conscious and didn't have many clothes to wear. But now I'm much more confident, I can even wear my old clothes again."

People's Artist Hong Van is more confident after losing weight.

Hong Van and her husband, actor Le Tuan Anh, often advise and encourage each other in losing weight. The female artist revealed that her husband has lost 42kg.

"In the past, there were many times when I wanted to lose weight but I couldn't do it properly. Sometimes I thought I was getting old and the roles didn't require much physical appearance. But then I thought again, losing weight is not only beautiful but also affects my health. So I have to be determined to achieve this goal," she said.

However, People's Artist Hong Van realized that her health had declined after fainting while worshiping the profession's ancestors, so she did not dare accept to participate in many long-term programs.

Talking about the Beauty Journey program, Hong Van said that she and MC Nguyen Khang will take on the role of host. In particular, People's Artist Hong Van will be the first person to contact and talk to the guest characters. After that, the character will meet with MC Nguyen Khang and psychological experts and guests to "heal the trauma with knowledge".

Hong Van wants to inspire beauty for women.

People's Artist Hong Van said she accepted to participate in this program because it is not simply about changing the characters' appearance but also helping them overcome stories that are deeply ingrained in their thoughts and difficult to express.

"Many other programs that turn ugly into beautiful are only on the outside, but this program also solves the psychological problems of women today. Sometimes women do not dare to be beautiful, but they are not ugly. They do not dare to use the family's money to take care of themselves, or feel inferior because they think that if they live differently, there will be gossip. It all depends on the psychological factor and the program will help them escape that vicious cycle.

The characters in the show are not poor, even own a brand, but have never dared to look at themselves in the mirror and do not know how to change to become more beautiful. After talking, we will understand that in the hidden corners of their souls, they do not understand themselves," the female artist shared.

Hong Van and Nguyen Khang take on the role of program hosts.

As for MC Nguyen Khang, he revealed that this was the first time he co-hosted with People's Artist Hong Van and the two supported each other when taking on two tasks. He said he accepted the invitation as soon as he was invited after learning about the message the program brought to women.

"I hope the program's goal is to change the thinking of Vietnamese women through many generations, that they will be an example for the next generations to be more confident and courageous.

Hopefully, as a host, I will contribute a small part of my strength to make the program a success. At the same time, I also hope to cooperate well with Ms. Hong Van in this first time, or accompany the next seasons to continue to spread to all parts of the country," said the male MC.

Beauty Trip is a reality show for women aged 25 - 40, from many different areas of life, from workers, traders, single mothers... in Ho Chi Minh City.

The first season will consist of 10 episodes, each episode is a character's transformation journey. The program will also invest more than 1 billion VND to provide support for the characters, contributing to changing their lives for the better.
