The job of an electrician is not only hard but also extremely dangerous, because just a small mistake can endanger the lives of himself and his colleagues. Sharing about the job, Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh, currently working at the Cam Le Power Operation Management Team (PC Da Nang), is a typical example of responsibility, dedication to work and is an innovative person, an excellent Union Leader of the unit.
Being an electrician is not easy, it requires workers to have their own qualities such as love for the job, courage, and team spirit. Only when they have love for the job, will they have the motivation to stick with it, understand the role and responsibilities they are carrying to complete the assigned tasks well. The electrician profession has its own unique features, with the determination to keep the electricity for the country always shining.

Mr. Vinh started working in the Electricity industry in August 1990, when he was a worker at the Cau Do Power Generation Workshop under the Quang Nam - Da Nang Electricity Department. With more than 30 years of working in the industry, Mr. Vinh now has level 7/7 operational management skills. For many consecutive years, he has been awarded the title of Excellent Worker and Good Worker by Da Nang Power Company.
Small, agile, and decisive, Vinh is always present anytime and anywhere when there are tasks that need to be handled by the Operations Management Team. From the perspective of his colleagues, he is a proactive, careful, meticulous, dedicated person to the assigned work, not afraid of difficulties or hardships. When there are urgent tasks or incidents that need to be resolved, he and his teammates quickly participate in everything from handling medium and low voltage line incidents, erecting poles, pulling wires, repairing electricity for customers and completing the work in the fastest time.
Talking about the love of the electrician's profession means talking about the passion for science, creative work, diligence and patience in work, "selfless" efforts for the beloved electricity, to best serve the people.
After each job is completed, Mr. Vinh always takes the initiative to exchange and share knowledge and experience with his colleagues. From practical work experience along with intelligence, eagerness to learn, love for the industry, love for the job, and dedication to the job, he has researched on his own and has created many technical innovation initiatives. From 2021 to now, every year Mr. Vinh has had at least 1 initiative recognized by the Company.
Among them, it is necessary to mention the initiatives that have been widely applied in practice such as: improved solutions for synchronizing the connection of mobile transformer stations (TSAs) with operating transformer stations; solutions for isolating the low-voltage grid in flooded areas to minimize power outages. Thanks to the innovative initiatives, he has applied them in daily work, contributing to improving labor productivity, bringing in hundreds of millions of VND in production value.
“ My father is also an electrician. Every time he comes home after work, his shoulders are soaked with sweat. I know he is very tired but he always smiles proudly and says that although his job is hard, it brings light to life. In my mind, my father is always a diligent worker, passionate about his job. Therefore, I don't know when it has seeped into my blood and always urged me to find technical solutions to save human resources and serve the people in the best way possible, because the Electricity industry must always be one step ahead ,” Vinh confided.
Mr. Tran Minh Tuan, Deputy Director of Cam Le Electricity Company said: “ Mr. Vinh is a high-level worker. At work, he is dynamic, has a lot of practical experience, lives in harmony, is simple, sincere, and is respected and loved by many friends and colleagues. He is an electrician who is dedicated to his work, eager to learn, highly responsible, and knows how to apply knowledge into practical work to come up with very practical initiatives .”
