(Fatherland) - On April 16, the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Thua Thien Hue announced that it will organize the Duong No village festival from May 18-20, 2024 with the theme "Duong No - May Journey".
Duong No village festival is held to celebrate the 134th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024); 126 years since he lived in Duong No village (1898-2024).

Taking place over three days, the festival will have many activities such as: Opening art program; lotus flower procession, portrait of President Ho Chi Minh from the village communal house to the memorial house; Offering flowers and incense to President Ho Chi Minh; Photo exhibition "The beauty of Ho Chi Minh's heritage and Duong No village culture"; Exhibition of Vietnamese folk paintings; Traditional racing festival of Duong No village. In addition, there are also a number of response activities such as experiencing culinary culture, Bai Choi space, Hue singing performance, traditional musical instrument performance... serving the community.
According to the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Thua Thien Hue, the festival aims to introduce to visitors the value of President Ho Chi Minh's heritage in Thua Thien Hue. Activities at the festival aim to build a close relationship between the relic and the community, raising community awareness in preserving and promoting heritage values.
