Organizing a contest to learn about the 2024 Land Law

On September 27, the People's Committee of District 1 (HCMC) coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district to organize a contest to learn about the 2024 Land Law. The contest attracted the participation of nearly 300 people, including officials, civil servants, union members, youth, and people... in the area.

At the contest, many issues related to the land sector such as land use rights, land disputes, land recovery, land lease, agricultural land use purposes, compensation, support, resettlement, etc. were discussed and presented enthusiastically by the teams. In addition, the contest also presented specific situations for the teams to express their views and propose solutions...

The organizers said that the contest aims to promote and ensure people's right to information about the law and enhance the responsibility of agencies, organizations and individuals in implementing the Land Law in the district.

At the same time, this is also an opportunity for cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and people in the district to exchange, learn, share experiences, and improve legal knowledge, thereby contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of law-making and enforcement, creating changes in the awareness of compliance with and observance of the law of each person in the area.

At the contest, the organizing committee also awarded prizes for the 3rd contest "Renovating old walls into propaganda works and building green residential areas" in 2024. Co Giang Ward won first prize; second prize went to Cau Kho Ward, Cau Ong Lanh Ward and Ben Nghe Ward.
