In 2024, the Provincial Party Committee, Party committees, Party organizations, and Inspection Commissions at all levels in the province will continue to strengthen leadership, direction, dissemination, study, and dissemination of the regulations, conclusions, and instructions of the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee on inspection, supervision, and enforcement of Party discipline; comprehensively lead, direct, and implement inspection and supervision tasks according to the provisions of the Party Charter in a spirit of urgency, seriousness, and determination. Promptly issue and organize the completion of 100% of the 2024 inspection and supervision programs and plans with a focus, key points, and practicality, focusing on areas where there are complicated issues, where negativity is likely to arise, and where public opinion is concerned; inspect when there are signs of violations against Party organizations and Party members; pay attention to rotating, building, and consolidating Inspection Commissions, Inspection Commission agencies, and inspection staff at all levels.

During the year, Party committees at all levels conducted thematic inspections and supervisions of 653 Party organizations and 4,177 Party members; Party committees and Inspection Commissions at all levels inspected 21 Party organizations and 70 Party members when there were signs of violations. Leaders and Inspection Commissions at all levels and relevant agencies performed well the coordination work in performing inspection and supervision tasks to ensure strictness, synchronization, timeliness, compliance with principles, and suitability to the actual conditions and tasks of each agency. The quality and effectiveness of inspection and supervision in 2024 continued to be improved, the results of task implementation increased compared to 2023, of which inspection and supervision of Party organizations increased by 4.5%; inspection and supervision of Party members increased by 17%.

Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Ha Quoc Tri, member of the Central Inspection Commission, highly appreciated the important results that Lai Chau province has achieved in inspection and supervision work in 2024. At the same time, he requested that in 2025, Party committees, Party organizations, and Inspection Commissions at all levels in the province, especially leaders, need to further improve awareness and responsibility for inspection and supervision work; self-examine and self-correct shortcomings and violations; strengthen leadership, direction, and implementation of professional guidance for Party committees, Party organizations, and Inspection Commissions at lower levels to carry out inspection, supervision, and Party discipline work to ensure compliance with regulations, effectiveness, and efficiency. Strengthen inspection, supervision, and settlement of petitions, denunciations, and complaints to serve the personnel work of Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; focus on supervising the implementation of Directive 35-CT/TW of the Politburo on organizing Party congresses at all levels; summarize Resolution 18-NQ/TW and deploy contents according to the general direction of the Central Committee in implementing the arrangement and streamlining of the political system's apparatus...

Also at the Conference, Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee announced the decision of the Secretariat on approving the members of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission for the 2020-2025 term for the following comrades: Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, Director of the Public Administration Service Center; Nguyen Anh Duc, Head of the Industry Economic - Resettlement Division of the Provincial People's Committee Office were elected as members of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission for the 2020-2025 term.
