Previously, at around 11:30 p.m. on March 30, fishing boat numbered TTH-91235-TS owned by Mr. Huynh Giao, residing in Phu Loc district, was returning to shore when it was sunk by waves about 16 nautical miles south of Ly Son island.

Fortunately, all three fishermen on this fishing boat were safely rescued by a fishing boat with the registration number TTH-99777-TS. However, currently, the TTH-99777-TS is experiencing technical problems, unable to operate, and is forced to drift freely, requiring the support of fishing boats in the surrounding waters and authorities to return to shore safely.
