This year, the whole Dak Lak province has 21,042 candidates registered for the exam and 69 candidates registered for the review of academic records (not taking the exam). Of these, the number of ethnic minority candidates is 5,927 candidates (accounting for 28.08%); the number of candidates studying general education programs is 18,851 candidates; the number of candidates studying continuing education programs is 2,260. The number of invigilators, supervisors, inspectors and service staff at 33 official exam sites with 900 official exam rooms is nearly 3,000 people.

According to the organizing committee, along with testing sites across the country, the 2023 high school graduation exam will be held from June 27 to June 30 with the following requirements: Safety, seriousness, honesty, objectivity, and fairness. For Dak Lak province, high schools, provincial continuing education centers, and vocational education and continuing education centers in the province have completed the program according to the schedule for the 2022-2023 school year.

The units have developed and implemented plans to organize review and tutoring for grade 12 students taking the 2023 high school graduation exam to ensure efficiency, quality and a high sense of responsibility. Along with that, the units have organized tests and evaluated students' learning outcomes, provided timely support solutions, helping them have enough knowledge to participate in the exam with the best results.

Training on exam invigilation and inspection is also carried out according to plan, ensuring that all exam invigilators, inspectors, supervisors and exam service staff are trained and have a clear understanding of exam regulations and procedures.

Ms. Le Thi Kim Oanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province, said: “The provincial exam steering committee, the district exam steering committee, and agencies, units, and localities will coordinate and proactively develop and implement plans and tasks to ensure that the exam takes place as planned. The Department of Education and Training will strengthen the work of mobilizing organizations and individuals to support and help candidates from policy families, poor households, and those residing in remote areas, so that candidates do not have to drop out of the exam due to economic or travel conditions.”

The province also prepared plans to ensure health, food safety, traffic safety; ensure security and order in the area, absolute safety in the exam printing area, exam area, and exam marking area. The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Dak Lak province implemented the programs "Volunteer Students", "Supporting Exam Season"... for this year's exam.
