After reviewing the proposal to name the road and bridge connecting Binh Duong and Tay Ninh provinces from the Department of Transport (now the Department of Construction), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that regarding the naming plan for Binh Tay bridge (The name comes from the first word combination in the names of the two provinces Binh Duong and Tay Ninh) not listed in the Road Name Database issued by the Provincial People's Committee, but agreed upon by local departments, branches and relevant units of the two provinces. Therefore, the Department of Construction has been requested to supplement an explanatory report to clarify the meaning of the proposed plan to name Binh Tay Bridge compared to other plans to report to the Advisory Council for naming and renaming roads and public works of the province.

Through the appraisal results, up to now, the dossiers on naming 13 routes in Ben Cat City, the names of roads and bridges connecting Binh Duong and Tay Ninh provinces basically meet the requirements for submission to the Provincial Council for approval to report to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and submission to the Provincial People's Council for approval according to regulations.

At the meeting, Council members also gave additional comments on a number of issues, including the naming of roads associated with historical sites.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Minh Tri basically agreed with the report of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the opinions of the members of the Council, and requested Ben Cat City to promptly complete the complete dossier. Regarding the bridge connecting Binh Duong and Tay Ninh provinces, the name Binh Tay Bridge was agreed upon. The Council will continue to submit for opinions from the Provincial People's Committee.
