Compared to last week, the price of live pigs in many provinces has decreased slightly from 3,000 to 5,000 VND/kg. Pig price prediction tomorrow April 1, 2025 has no positive signal

The price of live pigs on April 1, 2025 is forecasted to continue to maintain a slight downward trend or remain flat, with little chance of a strong breakthrough in the short term. Entering the new month, the pig farming market in Vietnam is being affected by many factors of supply and demand and external conditions. Below is a detailed analysis of the price of live pigs on April 1, 2025, helping farmers and investors grasp the situation to make appropriate decisions.

Livestock industry experts believe that it will be difficult for live pig prices on April 1, 2025 to break out of the current price range (VND68,000 - 75,000/kg) due to supply pressure and weak purchasing power. However, if exports to China increase sharply or the epidemic is well controlled, prices may increase from mid-April. In the basic scenario, farmers will still make a profit of VND10,000 - 15,000/kg at this price, although not as high as at the beginning of the year.
