Continuing the tradition: Honoring 30 outstanding young faces of Ho Chi Minh City Police

(HTV) - On the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Ho Chi Minh City Police organized the "Carrying on the Tradition" Journey and honored 30 "Outstanding Young Faces of the City Police" in 2025.

The "Outstanding Young Faces of the City Police" award is a timely recognition to honor the Youth Union members with outstanding achievements in all aspects of the People's Police force, demonstrating the attention of the Party Committee, leaders and commanders at all levels in the Ho Chi Minh City Police for the work of training, developing and improving the quality of young cadres to meet the requirements of building, protecting the Fatherland and international integration in the new situation.

The "Outstanding Young Faces of the City Police" award is a timely recognition to honor Youth Union members with outstanding achievements.

Captain Nguyen Thi Thu Hong, Officer, Ward 1 Police, Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City, Outstanding Young Face of Ho Chi Minh City Police in 2025: "As a local police officer, I come into contact with many different subjects, including those reintegrating into the community, so there are also complex difficulties, but I always try to complete my tasks well and will make more efforts through the encouragement of this award".

Captain Vo Thi Bich Phuong - Deputy Head of the Youth Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police: "This year we honor outstanding examples in the security police and ward and commune police sectors, all of whom are carefully selected to represent the intellectual capacity of the Ho Chi Minh City Police force."

Lieutenant General Le Hong Nam - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department emphasized: The above achievements are not only the pride of himself and his family, but also the honor of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Youth Union, the Youth Union organization and the City Police force. These are beautiful flowers, representing 9,000 youth union members in the entire Ho Chi Minh City Police force who are working in many fields, living with ideals, ambitions and noble dreams, being the core to spread more widely in studying and implementing the 6 teachings of Uncle Ho to the People's Police. Lieutenant General Le Hong Nam believes that today's youth will continue to write new pages of history, making the glorious tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union famous, continuing to make efforts and promote the tradition of "Forgetting oneself for the country, serving the people", taking the lead in ensuring security and order, protecting the peaceful life of the people.
