According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on the day and night of March 30, the North and Central regions will have thunderstorms. Be careful during thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind in the Northwest and North Central regions.

In the North and North Central regions, it is cold, in mountainous areas it is below 10 degrees Celsius. In the Central Highlands and the South, it is sunny, in some places it is above 34 degrees Celsius.

Regarding the cold air situation, early on the morning of March 30, Deputy Head of the Weather Forecast Department - National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting Vu Anh Tuan said that cold air has affected most of the Northwest region and some places in the Central Central region. The Gulf of Tonkin has strong northeast winds of level 7, gusting to level 8-9.

It is forecasted that on the morning of March 30, the cold air mass will continue to affect other places in the Central Central region and some places in the South Central region. Inland, the northeast wind will be strong at level 2-3, in coastal areas at level 3-4, with gusts of level 7-8 in some places.

The Northern and North Central regions are cold. The lowest temperature during this cold spell in the North is generally 12-15 degrees Celsius, in mountainous areas it is below 10 degrees Celsius; the North Central region is generally 15-18 degrees Celsius.

Hanoi area sometimes has rain, cold weather. The lowest temperature in this cold air mass is commonly 13-15 degrees Celsius.

At sea, in the Gulf of Tonkin, the Northeast wind is strong at level 6, especially on the morning of March 30, sometimes at level 7, gusting to level 8-9, rough seas, waves 2-3m high; in the North East Sea (including the sea area of ​​Hoang Sa), the Northeast wind is strong at level 6, especially in the Northeast sea, sometimes at level 7, gusting to level 8-9, rough seas, waves 3-5m high.

Due to the influence of cold air, from March 30 to April 2, in the North and Central Central regions, there will be scattered rain and showers and thunderstorms in some places. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Cold weather can affect livestock, poultry, and the growth and development of crops.

Thunderstorms accompanied by tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong winds can affect agricultural production, cause trees to fall, damage houses, traffic works and infrastructure.

Strong winds and large waves at sea are likely to affect boating and other activities.
