Taking place over 2 days, September 18 and 19, the contest attracted 29 contestants who are propagandists from 15 communes and towns in Tien Phuoc district. Contestants participated in two parts: talent and presentation.

The talent contest is expressed through many forms such as opera, folk songs... about the changes in the homeland in the process of building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, love for the homeland, praising the glorious Party, great Uncle Ho.

According to the jury of the contest, the units have invested and prepared carefully, bearing the mark and unique features of each locality. The skits and folk songs highlight typical examples and good practices, creating attraction and appeal to the audience.

Many candidates flexibly applied theory to practical propaganda activities, handled well common practical situations, and built suitable scenarios, creating a wide spread effect.

In the presentation round, the contestants focused on presenting the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's laws and policies; the results of implementing resolutions of Party congresses at all levels; current domestic and international situations. Advanced models, typical examples, good and effective practices, good people and good deeds from practice.

Participating in this contest, most of the contestants have practical connections in their localities, agencies, and units where they work and live, creating lively contests that connect theory and practice. Many units invest in carefully preparing illustrative images, videos, and supporting props to highlight the content that needs to be promoted.

Contestant Pham Thi Binh, from Tien My commune, presented a presentation on promoting the spirit of solidarity and unity among officials and people in carrying out the work of clearing the land for the regional connecting road through the area. The presentation was well-invested in content and illustrated clips, which were highly appreciated by the judges.

“Coming to this contest, I have carefully prepared the outline and spent time researching related content. This is an opportunity for us to exchange, learn, and share experiences in propagating the Party and State's guidelines and policies to the people,” Ms. Binh shared.

Improve the effectiveness of word of mouth propaganda

Mr. Phan Van Duong - Standing Deputy Secretary of Tien Phuoc District Party Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest said: "The contest is an opportunity for reporters to propagate and fight against false information and viewpoints of hostile forces, protecting the ideological foundation of the Party.

At the same time, improve the quality and effectiveness of oral propaganda work to meet the requirements of the new situation. Thereby creating conditions for reporters and propagandists at the grassroots level to exchange and learn experiences, improve qualifications, capacity and presentation skills, contributing to improving the quality of oral propaganda work.

Ms. Tran Thi Thu Ba - Head of the Propaganda Department of Tien Phuoc District Party Committee, Deputy Organizing Committee of the contest shared that through the contest, it has created a widespread dissemination among cadres, party members, and people about the role and tasks of continuing to innovate and improve the quality and effectiveness of oral propaganda work in the new situation.

The units have invested carefully, connected with local practices and used many vivid images and video clips, creating attraction for listeners.

The 2024 contest for excellent propagandists on oral propaganda in Tien Phuoc district is an important political activity in improving the quality and effectiveness of oral propaganda work. Thereby contributing to raising awareness of Party committees at all levels about the position and role of oral propaganda work, strengthening leadership and direction for oral propaganda work.
