The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council held its 29th meeting.

On October 23, Comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the 29th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, term XI.

Attending the meeting were members of the Provincial Party Committee: Tran Minh Luc, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Minh Nam, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Commission, Head of the Provincial People's Council's Economic and Budget Commission; Nguyen Tien Duc, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, Head of the Provincial People's Council's Legal Commission; Lam Dong, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Commission, Head of the Provincial People's Council's Cultural and Social Commission; Phan Tan Canh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; along with leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and related departments and branches.

At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council listened to the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee report on the progress of preparations for the contents to be submitted to the regular session at the end of 2023; the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council reported on the plan to meet voters before the regular session at the end of 2023, as well as the contents serving the conference to review and evaluate the activities of the Provincial People's Council during the mid-term 2021-2026; the People's Council Committees reported on the results of the verification of the contents to be submitted at the session.

Comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the 29th meeting of the Provincial People's Council Standing Committee.

Concluding the meeting, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the Provincial People's Committee to urgently prepare all reports, submissions, and draft resolutions to submit to the Provincial People's Council meeting at the end of 2023, and submit them to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council to assign the Provincial People's Council Committees to review before November 15, 2023; note that the inclusion of resolutions in the list of promulgated resolutions must be strictly ensured, carefully reviewed for legality, implementation resources, etc., limiting the adjustment of the list of agreed resolutions. Assign the Provincial People's Council Committees to proactively coordinate with the Departments and branches in the process of drafting resolutions, attend, study and give opinions on draft resolutions when invited to attend meetings through the Provincial People's Committee. Regarding the preparation for questioning at the session, the Provincial People's Council Committees and the Provincial People's Council Delegation Groups, in addition to synthesizing and reflecting voters' opinions and recommendations to select issues to register for questioning, need to comprehensively review the policies that the People's Council has issued, consider which policies are still inadequate and problematic, and propose content for questioning at the People's Council session...
