Effectively implement the Emulation Movement for National Security

Emulation cluster No. 4, Ministry of Public Security:

On July 17, in Viet Tri City, Emulation Cluster No. 4 (Ministry of Public Security) including the Public Security of the provinces: Phu Tho, Quang Ninh, Vinh Phuc, Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Hoa Binh held a conference to review the Emulation Movement for National Security in the first 6 months of 2024.

Attending the conference were comrade Bui Van Quang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Colonel Nguyen Minh Tuan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of Phu Tho Provincial Police; leaders of the Professional Department - Ministry of Public Security; leaders of the Police of the provinces in the Emulation Cluster.

The report at the conference stated that in the first 6 months of the year, under the leadership and direction of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial Party Committees, the Provincial People's Committees, the Provincial Public Security in the Emulation Clusters have done a good job of advising and deploying, effectively implementing the proposed Public Security work programs and plans. The emulation movement contents have been seriously and richly implemented, with many innovations, achieving many achievements in all aspects of work.

Notably, in the work of maintaining social order and safety in the first 6 months of the year, the provincial police investigated and solved 1,707/1,914 criminal cases, reaching a rate of 89.1%; solved 294/314 serious and especially serious cases, reaching a rate of 93.6%.

The work of building the People's Movement to Protect National Security continues to be widely deployed, closely linked with economic and social development programs and campaigns.

Conference overview.

Currently, the Emulation Cluster maintains the effective operation of 24,251 types of mass organizations with the task of protecting security and order at the grassroots level; 750 models, typical examples of "Skilled Mass Mobilization" in the field of security and order. Thereby, the People have provided the Police force with 3,410 crime reports; 1,650 of which are valuable.

From the emulation movement, many collectives and individuals have achieved outstanding feats, leaving behind a beautiful image of the police officer "Forgetting himself for the country, serving the people".

At the conference, the leaders of the provincial police in the emulation cluster discussed, exchanged and proposed a number of directions and tasks for implementation in the coming time. They agreed to continue to closely follow the direction of the Ministry of Public Security and the content of the emulation agreement signed by the cluster to focus on proposing solutions to successfully implement the emulation movement for national security in all areas of work. Determined to strive to exceed the 2024 work targets assigned by the Ministry of Public Security, ensuring security and order in all situations.

Speaking at the Conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Van Quang requested the Public Security of the provinces in the Emulation Cluster in general and the Phu Tho Provincial Public Security in particular to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and maintain close coordination between the Public Security units in the Emulation Cluster in the coming time. Promote the Emulation Movement for National Security in close combination with the Movement for the People to Protect National Security and other emulation movements; compete to achieve achievements to celebrate the anniversaries of major holidays of the country and of the People's Public Security force in 2024.

Provincial police actively advise Party committees and authorities to effectively direct the implementation of security and order, build a strong People's Public Security force; build a strong People's security posture; ensure a stable environment, create the most favorable conditions for socio-economic development and international integration of localities. Continue to effectively implement Project 06 of the Government, contributing to better implementation of online public services to serve people and businesses and improve the investment and business environment of localities.
