Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai has just assigned the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department to preside over and coordinate with departments, agencies, Thu Duc City People's Committee and districts to determine that the application of electronic invoices is one of the important mandatory solutions, especially for electronic invoices on electricity and gasoline.
The assigned departments and branches shall closely coordinate and accompany the City Tax Department in the work of propaganda, inspection, examination, management and use of electronic invoices; improve the effectiveness of state management in tax administration and strictly handle according to the law cases where regulations on the use of electronic invoices are not implemented.
Previously, on November 18, the Prime Minister issued a telegram on strengthening the management and use of electronic invoices, contributing to promoting digital transformation. The Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Finance to take the lead in promoting and organizing the use of electronic invoices, expanding the deployment of electronic invoices generated from cash registers, etc.
