On his walk from Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square to Ngoc Son Temple, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong occasionally stopped to take photos of the capital's streets. Crowded restaurants, Ba Kieu Temple, Ngoc Son Temple, the scenery and the people's entertainment were all recorded by the Singaporean Prime Minister on his personal mobile phone.

Many people recognized Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and shouted his name, in response he happily waved.
From Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong stopped for a while to admire The Huc Bridge with its brilliant lights at night.
Visiting and offering incense at the Ngoc Son Temple National Special Relic, an ancient temple dating back to the 19th century - one of the most famous relics of Hanoi, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Singaporean officials listened to an introduction to the history of Hoan Kiem Lake, visited the shrines in the temple, and viewed the Turtle specimen displayed here.
In recent times, the area around Hoan Kiem Lake has been one of the destinations often included in the itinerary of foreign leaders visiting Hanoi, Vietnam, because this place is considered the "Heart of the Capital", a place containing many cultural values of thousands of years of civilization of Thang Long - Hanoi.

Before that, as soon as he arrived in Hanoi, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong shared on his personal Facebook page, with a picture of Tran Quoc Pagoda and the greeting: Hello from Hanoi! I came to Vietnam for an official visit at the invitation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.
The Singaporean Prime Minister expressed his delight at visiting Vietnam on the occasion of the two countries celebrating 50 years of diplomatic relations and 10 years of establishing the Strategic Partnership. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong also shared that in addition to diplomatic relations, Singaporeans and Vietnamese people also have many common interests, such as liking delicious food.
Mr. Lee Hsien Loong expressed his hope to meet Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and other Vietnamese leaders on August 28.
This visit by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong is his fifth visit to Vietnam as Prime Minister, demonstrating the closeness and connection between Singapore and Vietnam.

This visit is also part of a series of events organized by the two sides to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations and 10 years of the Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and Singapore, following Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's visit to Singapore in February 2023.
During this visit, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will attend a series of important activities and events demonstrating comprehensive cooperation and mutual trust between Vietnam and Singapore.
