The Drug Administration of Vietnam announced the suspension of circulation and nationwide recall of the product Cindellux Advanced Whitening UV Defense Essence, Announcement number: 226256/24/CBMP-QLD;
The company responsible for bringing the product to market is Cindel Tox Import Export Company Limited (Address: 156 Bui Thi Xuan, Pham Ngu Lao Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City); Manufacturer: Aria Cosmetics Co., Ltd – Korea.
The reason for suspension of circulation and recall is that the product's formula is not consistent with the cosmetic product declaration file.
The Drug Administration of Vietnam requests the Department of Health of provinces and centrally-run cities to notify cosmetic businesses and users in the area to immediately stop selling and using the above-mentioned Cindellux Advanced Whitening UV Defense Essence product and return the product to the supplier;
Proceed to recall and destroy the above-mentioned violating products; inspect and supervise units implementing this notice; handle violating units according to current regulations.
Cindel Tox Import Export Company Limited must send a recall notice to the distributors and users of the above Cindellux Advanced Whitening UV Defense Essence product;
Receive returned products from businesses and collect and destroy all products that do not meet regulations;
The Drug Administration of Vietnam requests health agencies to send a recall and destruction report for the above Cindellux Advanced Whitening UV Defense Essence product to the Drug Administration of Vietnam before August 15, 2024. The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health is requested to supervise the company in carrying out the recall.
Also regarding the recall of cosmetics, previously, the Drug Administration of Vietnam, Ministry of Health, requested health departments nationwide to destroy and recall the cosmetic product Black Pearl – Cleopatra Mask For All Skin Types.
Product Black Pearl – Cleopatra Mask For All Skin Types, registration number: 179273/22/CBMP-QLD; Company responsible for bringing the product to market: Starshine Marketing Company Limited (Address: No. 7, D4 Street, Tan Hung Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City); Manufacturer: Sea of spa Labs Ltd – Israel.
The reason for the recall is that the product's formula is not consistent with the cosmetic product declaration file.
Previously, Starshine Marketing Company Limited was administratively sanctioned for trading cosmetics with formulas that were not consistent with the cosmetic product declaration dossier (missing the ingredients Ethylhexylglycerin, Propylene Glycol, Cyclopentasiloxane; over-stating the ingredients Dimethicone, Glycerin, Gold) for the product Black Pearl - Cleopatra Mask for all skin types.
The Drug Administration of Vietnam requests local health departments to notify cosmetic businesses and users in the area to immediately stop selling and using the above-mentioned product Black Pearl - Cleopatra Mask for all skin types.
Proceed to recall and destroy the above-mentioned violating products; inspect and supervise units implementing this notice; handle violating units according to current regulations.
Also regarding cosmetic recall, previously, the Department of Drug Administration issued Official Dispatch No. 1271/QLD-MP dated May 3, 2024 on suspending circulation, recalling and destroying cosmetic products such as Serum to restore damaged skin.
This product has the declaration number: 24/22/CBMP-KH; The company responsible for bringing the product to the market: Bich Cao White Company Limited (Address: No. 163, Alley 278, Chau Thi Kim, Ward 7, Tan An City, Long An Province); Hai Tam Trading & Service Company Limited (Address: Village 5, Ninh Son Commune, Ninh Hoa Town, Khanh Hoa Province) manufactures.
Reason for suspension and recall: The product's formula is not consistent with the cosmetic product declaration file.
