Time Nghe An announced 10th grade benchmark scores

On July 3, information from the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An province said that this year's 10th grade entrance exam took place from June 5-6.

From June 15, 2024, the Department of Education and Training announced the admission scores for grade 10 and admission scores for Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted.

By July 4, 2024, the Department will approve enrollment in the Provincial Boarding High School for Ethnic Minorities and Boarding High School for Ethnic Minorities No. 2 and approve additional enrollment on July 9.

From July 12, public high schools that only enroll first-choice students will consider admission for the first time. By July 16, public high schools that only enroll first-choice students will consider admission for the second time, and on July 31, they will consider admission for the third time.

On July 19, Huynh Thuc Khang, Ha Huy Tap, and Le Viet Thuan High Schools will consider enrolling classes according to the advanced school model following the international integration trend (phase 1) and on July 22, they will approve phase 2.

On July 25, public high schools that recruit second-choice students will conduct the first round of admissions, and on July 29, the second round of admissions, and on August 2, the third round of admissions.

For non-public schools, this year, the first round of admission will be held on August 6, the second round will be held on August 12, and the third round will be held on August 16.

By August 19, public high schools that only enroll in the first choice will submit the final list of successful candidates for approval on the system; on August 21, public high schools that enroll in the second choice will submit the final list for approval, and on August 23, non-public high schools will submit the final list of successful candidates for approval.

This year, the admission approval process is done online on the system, and the opening and closing of the system must be done on schedule. After the deadline, the assigned approval officer or administrator will lock the system to finalize the admission list.

Outside of the above time frame, the Department's system administrator will open upon request of the units to make changes or conduct additional recruitment rounds (if any).

Schools that approve admission first must promptly notify the list of successful candidates and ask parents and students to confirm admission, then finalize the list on the system for schools that consider admission later to conduct the admission review.

For non-public high schools, in the case of students who have graduated from junior high school but did not take the 10th grade entrance exam, if they wish to be considered for admission based on their secondary school training and study results (admission based on academic records) but have not registered on the online admission system, the school will organize to receive applications directly.

After receiving the application, the school makes a list and enters the data into the software system to conduct the admission process...

Thus, it will not be until July 12 that Nghe An candidates will know the admission scores for public high schools.
