On the morning of April 16, at Bien Hoa airport, General Nguyen Tan Cuong - Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Deputy Minister of National Defense - attended and directed the rehearsal of the parade and march in preparation for the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
Also attending were representatives of the Ministry of Public Security and leaders of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee.

According to the reporter's records on the morning of April 16, the general training began with four squadrons of 10 Mi-8 and Mi-17 helicopters flying the Party flag and the national flag across the parade area.
Next were the Yak-130 multi-role aircraft and SU-30MK2 fighter jets flying over the stage in formations of 3 aircraft and formations of 4 aircraft.
After flying over the stage, the planes performed complex maneuvers. The formations of three SU-30MK2 fighter jets flew in different directions after flying over the stage. Then the SU-30MK2 fighter jets continued to circle many times over the stage area.
Speaking at the training session, General Nguyen Tan Cuong - Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army and Deputy Minister of National Defense - praised the sense of responsibility of the officers and soldiers participating in the parade.
General Nguyen Tan Cuong highly appreciated the parade groups, despite the hot weather conditions of the South, they overcame difficulties to organize the exercise and achieved good results today.

According to General Nguyen Tan Cuong, compared to previous training sessions, the quality of the training session on the morning of April 16 has been improved. Although the faces of the officers and soldiers were darkened by the weather, they still showed a joyful and excited spirit and high determination.
However, General Nguyen Tan Cuong also requested that units draw lessons for the blocks on gun carrying and gun holding movements...
General Nguyen Tan Cuong also appreciated the beautiful flight formations, however, during the parade, the units need to carefully check the equipment, ensure absolute safety, and regularly check the health of officers and soldiers.
For standing blocks, require the blocks to stand evenly and beautifully, and continue to practice standing solemnly.
General Nguyen Tan Cuong also shared that people across the country are eagerly awaiting the parade taking place on the upcoming April 30 holiday.
Also at the training session, General Nguyen Tan Cuong, leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, leaders of Military Region 7, and leaders of Dong Nai province presented gifts to encourage the groups.
It is expected that on April 17, the heads of agencies and units with forces participating in the parade will meet to review experiences and deploy the next tasks. After this training session, the units will prepare for the first joint training in Ho Chi Minh City.
