THILOGI provides complete logistics solutions for fresh fruit export
In the period of 2024-2026, THILOGI continues to invest in more than 300 specialized vehicles and 120 generators on vehicles to transport and preserve fruits from the Central Highlands, Laos, and Cambodia to Chu Lai port or to the northern border gates.
According to the Vietnam Fruit and Vegetable Association, many types of Vietnamese fruits are currently officially exported with a record high turnover, expected to reach 7 billion USD by the end of 2024. In order to meet the increasing export demand in the Central Highlands - the country's major fruit production center, THILOGI has focused on completing a complete logistics service chain combining multimodal transportation.
Complete solution for fresh fruit export
In the first 9 months of 2024, the country's fruit and vegetable export turnover reached 5.7 billion USD, up 34% over the same period last year, of which durian was the main product. Other fruits such as bananas, mangoes, dragon fruit, etc. also contributed significantly to export growth.
With more than 80% of exported fruit products being fresh, purchasing, preserving, and transporting are difficult, easily affecting product quality. This requires freight forwarding and transportation businesses to have optimal, specialized solutions for this product.

In order to improve the efficiency of the logistics system in the agricultural value chain, THILOGI continues to promote investment and upgrade the complete logistics service chain, combining multimodal transportation from road transport, sea transport, seaport services, warehousing, food quarantine procedures... with optimal costs.
In the first half of October, more than 200 containers of fresh fruit (durian, banana) from the Central Highlands, Southern Laos and Northern Cambodia were exported through Chu Lai port.
Currently, Chu Lai Port has built a cold storage system according to international standards with an area of over 12,500 m2 with a capacity of 1,000 cold containers, meeting the needs of storing and preserving fresh fruit before export.
Mr. Phan Van Ky, Director of Chu Lai Port, said that investing in synchronous infrastructure that meets cold storage requirements helps ensure product quality, reduces pressure on harvest time, and contributes to improving the competitiveness of Vietnamese fruits in the international market.
In addition, THILOGI owns a large number of specialized refrigerated containers (40, 45 feet), more than 200 specialized tractors serving the transportation of agricultural products, ensuring that fruits are preserved in a compatible temperature according to the regulations of each type.

On average, each month, Chu Lai port serves the export of more than 500 containers of fresh fruit (bananas, durians, dragon fruits, mangoes, etc.) to partners and customers with time-saving solutions and service fees 10-30% lower than other ports in the region.
Continue to invest heavily in vehicles and equipment
In the context of globalization, in order to help Vietnamese fruits to be officially exported with guaranteed quality, large consumption and reasonable prices, THILOGI has been focusing on providing solutions to improve the agricultural value chain in the international market through investing in infrastructure, means and equipment, promoting linkages and expanding international cooperation.

According to the development strategy for the period 2024 - 2026, THILOGI continues to invest in the largest refrigerated container yard in the Central region at Chu Lai port (area of more than 14,000 m2 and nearly 840 power outlets).
Notably, the Group will invest in more than 300 specialized vehicles (tractors, semi-trailers), 120 generators on vehicles to transport and preserve fruits from the Central Highlands, Laos, Cambodia to Chu Lai port or transport by road from the Southeast region to northern border gates such as: Tan Thanh, Huu Nghi, Chi Ma (Lang Son), Mong Cai (Quang Ninh)...
In addition, Chu Lai port also strengthens cooperation with many international shipping lines such as: SITC, CMA CGM, ZIM, RCL... to exploit direct shipping routes from Chu Lai to China, Korea, Japan, India... with a frequency of 4 trips/week.
Thanks to that, the time to transport fruit to major markets is shortened, while promoting the growth of container cargo through the port.
Recently, Chu Lai port has completed and put into operation wharf No. 2 with a length of 365 meters, increasing the total length of the port to 836 meters, increasing the capacity to receive ships with large loads.
The newly invested large-capacity specialized crane system at the port also helps improve the productivity of loading, unloading and releasing ships.
This is the advantage for Chu Lai port to become a logistics center in the Central region, meeting the demand for exporting fresh Vietnamese fruits to the world market.
