The Kien Giang Provincial Police Union holds political activities at the Sac Forest resistance base.

Attending the program were Major General Le Hong Hiep - Deputy Director of the Department of Political Work of the Ministry of Public Security ; Colonel Tran Hong Minh - Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Police; Lieutenant Colonel Cong Thanh Thao - Head of the People's Public Security Trade Union and more than 100 delegates from the Public Security Trade Unions of southern provinces and cities.

The delegation offered incense to report achievements and commend 50 union members who achieved the title of excellent workers in 2024, including 3 union members of Kien Giang Police at the temple of heroes and martyrs of Rung Sac...

The delegation visited the special national relic of the Rung Sac resistance base. During the resistance war against the US to save the country, the Rung Sac resistance base became the base of the heroic 10th Special Forces Regiment. The revolutionary soldiers took advantage of the dense forest terrain, fighting bravely in the harsh environment. The delegates were able to see images and artifacts depicting and recreating the arduous life and fighting, and heard stories about the resounding achievements of the special forces soldiers.

During the local social security program, the delegation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Hay, whose three children died in the war; and female war invalid Nguyen Thi Ly, an example of optimism and self-reliance in life...

Previously, the delegation organized health check-ups, consultations, gifts, and free medicine for 300 people in difficult circumstances; presented gifts to 150 policy families; donated funds to build 2 Union houses for 2 policy families in Can Gio district...

To contribute to the successful organization of the above series of activities, the Kien Giang Provincial Police Union mobilized benefactors to support 300 helmets and 30 million VND in cash.
