Through the activities taking place at the congress, it contributes to spreading and multiplying the typical examples of young team members and children in various fields, promoting the movement "Quang Ninh children compete to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings" in the district to go deeper and deeper.
In recent years, the implementation of the movement "Quang Ninh children compete to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings" has always been the content that primary and secondary schools in the province have consistently implemented, integrated into subjects, collective activities, and appropriate extracurricular activities to create an environment for team members to practice and compete.
At Kim Dong Secondary School (Ha Long City), for many years now, the peer-to-peer communication model to promote learning and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style has been maintained, creating a positive ripple effect among students. Through the youth newsletters broadcast at the beginning of each class, topics about the life, great revolutionary career, Uncle Ho's moral example, or introducing good books and literary works about Uncle Ho... are conveyed to students every day. In particular, the content of the newsletters is prepared by the school's team members and students with the support and guidance of teachers. From here, it helps students access knowledge better and have a way to convey it to their friends more closely.
Together with the grassroots, the Youth Union at all levels is always proactive in innovating and creating many diverse forms, creating conditions to encourage team members and children to actively study and follow Uncle Ho. In particular, focusing on propaganda work, educating history and traditions, arousing patriotism and national pride for children through activities such as: Commending "Little Soldiers of Dien Bien", activities with the theme "Every week a beautiful story, a good book, a shining example"; activities "Repaying gratitude", "When drinking water, remember its source", “Journey to the red address” … In 2024, 100% of the Youth Unions in the whole province will organize for team members and children to go to the red address with nearly 130,000 children participating.
To create an environment for children to practice the teaching of "Study well, work well", in addition to maintaining the movements of "Friends progressing together", "Good grades", "Clean notebooks, beautiful handwriting"..., the provincial Youth Union chapters always prioritize creating an environment and conditions for development and improving creative thinking ability for team members and children through creative experiential activities such as: Maintaining STEM clubs, organizing competitions "I love science", "Young informatics", "Creative youth and children of Quang Ninh province"... Thereby, constantly encouraging children to study, improve foreign language skills, information technology, and international integration skills.
Long-standing movements such as "Small Plan", "Thousand Good Deeds", fundraising to help children in difficult circumstances, contributing to the orientation of cultivating moral values and good lifestyles for team members and teenagers continue to be effectively implemented. In the 2023-2024 school year, the Youth Unions awarded 2,196 scholarships to support children with a total value of nearly 1.4 billion VND; Youth Union, Association and Young Pioneer chapters at all levels in the province mobilized to repair and build 34 new playgrounds for children, and awarded 320 "Learning Corners with Children to the Future" to students in difficult circumstances to rise up in life...
