The USD price at commercial banks remained unchanged, such as Vietcombank still bought by transfer at 25,245 VND and sold at 25,465 VND; Eximbank bought at 25,240 VND and sold at 25,466 VND...

Similarly, the free USD price decreased by 40 VND in buying, down to 25,860 VND, and the selling price decreased by 20 VND, down to 25,960 VND. Currently, the free USD price is still nearly 500 VND higher than that of banks.

Free USD price on the morning of July 2 turned down

The world USD price increased slightly. The USD-Index reached 105.56 points, plus a decrease of 0.96 points compared to yesterday. According to Investing , the USD has soared to a new 38-year high against the yen as long-term Treasury yields rose sharply. The market is waiting to see if the Japanese government will take any action to support its currency.

The market will trade only four sessions this week as the US is closed for the July 4th Independence Day holiday. Investors are looking ahead to the US non-farm payrolls report due on Friday (July 5) for fresh signs on when the Federal Reserve might start cutting interest rates. Economists expect the US economy to have added 189,000 jobs in June after a larger-than-expected gain of 272,000 jobs last month.

In addition, some other data is also released such as the employment report released today and according to forecasts, the number of jobs continued to decrease in May. Next, the minutes of the Fed's June meeting will be released tomorrow (July 3) and Fed Chairman - Jerome Powell will appear at the annual forum of the European Central Bank in Portugal.
