Provincial branch of the Bank for Social Policies commends good and creative workers

In the period of 2020-2025, the Quang Ninh Provincial Bank for Social Policies Branch has created a vibrant competitive atmosphere throughout the unit. Along with responding to competitive movements such as "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind", "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas", the unit has actively built regular competitive movements, specialized competitive movements focusing on specialized tasks that are topical, new and complex in implementing credit for the poor and other policy subjects. The competitive movements have focused on intelligence and strength in all activities, arousing the tradition of loving the industry and profession of each cadre and employee, closely following the requirements and political tasks assigned by the Bank for Social Policies and Quang Ninh province in each period.

Deputy General Director of the Bank for Social Policies Vuong Van Minh presented certificates of merit from the General Director of the Bank for Social Policies to individuals who are members of the Board of Directors of the Bank for Social Policies at the district level.

With the implementation of 19 credit programs, by March 31, 2025, the Quang Ninh Provincial Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies had a total outstanding debt of VND 5,511.4 billion, an increase of VND 2,495.4 billion, an increase of 82.7% compared to December 31, 2019 with 75,816 customers with outstanding debt. The quality of policy credit has been continuously improved, with total overdue debt and frozen debt accounting for only 0.37% of total outstanding debt.

In the period of 2020-2025, 138,280 poor households, near-poor households and policy beneficiaries have borrowed capital from the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, including 22,972 ethnic minority households. The results of policy credit have contributed to reducing the province's poverty rate from 0.52% in 2019 to no more poor households according to central criteria by the end of 2023. Quang Ninh is the first locality in the country to complete the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the period of 2021-2025 3 years ahead of schedule.

From the emulation movements, the Quang Ninh Provincial Branch of the Bank for Social Policies has built 2 collectives and 7 typical advanced individuals at the system level; 10 collectives and 56 typical advanced individuals in each system-level operation; 1 typical advanced collective at the banking sector level; 6 collectives and 10 typical advanced individuals in each banking sector operation... These are typical advanced and outstanding examples in scientific research, application of research results into practical activities, with initiatives, improvements, proposals for outstanding technical solutions, management solutions, and operational solutions in the process of performing tasks to improve productivity and quality of work.

At the conference, many typical and advanced collectives and individuals in the 2020-2025 period received Certificates of Merit from the General Director of the Bank for Social Policies and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank for Social Policies.

Professionally, the Trade Union of the Bank for Social Policies Branch in Quang Ninh province signed a commitment to emulation for the period 2025-2030.

Also at the conference, the Trade Union of the Bank for Social Policies Branch in Quang Ninh province launched and signed a commitment to organize and promote patriotic emulation movements, striving to excellently complete the program and tasks of the plan for the period 2025-2030.
