At the end of the visit, Professor Michael Mainelli emphasized: "Education is an important part of the UK-Vietnam relationship. Vietnam is one of five countries prioritized by the British Government in its international education strategy. The number of partners in the UK's transnational education network in Vietnam is the largest in the world, and BUV is the most important link, helping Vietnamese students access high-quality British education at home. BUV's flexible blended education model has opened up new opportunities for Vietnamese students."

Professor Rick Bennett, Vice-Chancellor of BUV, emphasized that the visit reflects the growing relationship between UK higher education and Vietnam's academic development. "The visit of the Lord Mayor of the City of London to BUV marks an important milestone in the journey of Vietnam - UK educational cooperation. This affirms BUV's leading position in providing Vietnamese students with opportunities to access world-class education," Professor Rick Bennett shared.

The visit of the Lord Mayor of the City of London to BUV has affirmed the British Government’s support for the activities of British universities in Vietnam. This further strengthens the close educational cooperation between the two countries, and affirms BUV’s commitment to continuously improve the quality of training to meet the increasing needs of Vietnamese students.

The visit not only demonstrates BUV’s development but also reinforces the school’s role in strengthening the UK-Vietnam educational relationship. With a British-standard curriculum and modern facilities, BUV is one of the world-class educational institutions in Vietnam, affirming its leading position for students seeking global opportunities at home.

BUV is the first university in Vietnam to receive a 5-star rating from Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), and the first university in Vietnam and ASEAN to receive global quality accreditation from QAA, the UK’s Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education. These are two of the most prestigious accreditation bodies in the world.
