As one of the scholarship winners of British University Vietnam (BUV), with her efforts in studying and social activities, Nguyen Duyen Ha Van always equips young people with knowledge and experience in the career orientation process.
Immediately after receiving her excellent Bachelor's degree from BUV, Ha Van continued to receive a scholarship from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) for the Master of International Business and Commercial Law and Master of Business Administration program. This is the next step in her journey of self-development, aiming to build an educational enterprise in Vietnam.
Continuous efforts on the learning journey
Before receiving a scholarship to pursue a master's degree at the Sydney University of Technology, Ha Van graduated with First Class Honours in International Business Administration from BUV with impressive scores.
In 2021, Ha Van entered the school with a full cooperative scholarship and immediately received a 35% scholarship for the MBA program for students with excellent academic achievements. During her time at BUV, Ha Van continuously received high awards including the Academic Merit Award - Academic Excellence for excellent academic achievements and a certificate of training scores among the highest in the school. She was also awarded the Dedication Award for her position as a specialized Student Ambassador of the school.
Become an inspirational ambassador and guest at educational events
As one of the BUV scholarship winners, Ha Van had the opportunity to become a Program Student Ambassador Team (PSAT). In this role, she actively participated in recruitment activities and promoted the study program at many events such as Marie Curie High School Orientation Day, FPT UniFair, and seminars at other high schools in Ha and BUV.
Ha Van is a guest speaker at many educational and career orientation events, inspiring many students and parents, helping them have a clearer view of studying and developing in an international environment. "Sharing about the experience of studying at BUV and the experience of self-study, finding opportunities, and studying well is not only an honor but also an opportunity to help young people have a clearer direction about their study and career path" - Ha Van shared.
Career experience and career choice
Since her first year of university, Ha Van has started her internship journey with various jobs throughout 6 internships and focused on the education sector. As a Product Development Analyst at Student Life Care Vietnam, she participated in product management and development, including building a career testing tool for students and working people. Ha Van conducted market research, designed plans and developed several algorithms to provide personalized career guidance results for users.
Last year, she helped four students win full and partial scholarships from BUV, VinUni, and Swinburne with support levels of up to 100%. "I am very happy to be able to be a mentor, helping many students get closer to their dreams through access to high-quality international education," Ha Van shared.
Actively participate in social and volunteer activities
Ha Van is also an active participant in volunteer activities. She was a volunteer teacher at SOS Children's Village Vietnam, participated in programs of Volunteer for Education and many other volunteer trips to mountainous areas and areas affected by natural disasters with the goal of helping children have better learning opportunities. Ha Van always believes that education is a long-term and sustainable way to develop society, and children are the future of each family and the country.

I feel honored to have contributed a small part in her development, from a shy Pathway student to an intelligent, thoughtful and beautiful girl”.
Plans for the future
Sharing about her plans for the future, Ha Van said: “In the next 2 years, I will focus on my master's program at Sydney University of Technology, while also preparing for a plan to open an educational enterprise, aiming to provide high-quality and personalized educational services, suitable for the needs of each student.” Having experienced many roles in the education sector, Ha Van clearly understands what learners need and wants to create services that truly meet customers' expectations.
