Market traded cautiously, VN-Index continued to decrease by more than 2 points

NDO - In the trading session on March 27, investors' caution caused the market to trade sluggishly and liquidity to decrease. Bluechip stocks were divided and most fluctuated within a narrow range, preventing the main indices from breaking out. At the end of the session, VN-Index decreased by 2.28 points to 1,323.81 points.

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session decreased sharply compared to the previous session, reaching more than 12,739.63 billion VND.

Foreign investors net sold approximately 64 billion VND on the HoSE. On the buying side, SHB shares were bought the most with a value of 69 billion VND, followed by VCI (57 billion VND), GVR (44 billion VND)... On the contrary, TPB was sold the most (162 billion VND), followed by DBC (69 billion VND), PNJ (46 billion VND)...

Today's session, bluechip stocks traded differently and mainly fluctuated within a narrow range. The VN30 group of stocks ended the session with 8 stocks increasing, 1 stock remaining unchanged and 21 stocks decreasing.

Of which, SHB increased by 3.67% to VND 12,700/share, FPT increased by 2.6% to VND 126,200/share, BVH increased by 1.92%, MSN increased by 1.61%, GVR increased by 1.3%.

Codes: SSB, VIB, VIC increased slightly with SAB stopping at reference.

On the other hand, VRE decreased by 1.5%, TPB decreased by 1.38%, LPB decreased by 1.35%, BID decreased by 1.14%.

The remaining codes: ACB, BCM, GAS, HDB, HPG, MBB, MWG, PLX, VCB, VHM, VJC, VNM, VPB, CTG, SSI, STB, TCB decreased slightly.

In terms of industry groups, steel stocks traded differently. Besides HPG mentioned above, TLH decreased by 2.34%, NKG decreased by 1.61%, HSG decreased by 1.39%. On the contrary, SMC increased by 4% to 6,500 VND/share, HMC, VCA increased slightly, DTL stopped at reference.

The group of securities stocks was almost completely covered in red and closed the session down 0.36%. Besides SSI mentioned above, HCM decreased by 1.92%, ORS decreased by 1.48%, TVB decreased by 1.38%, VDS decreased by 1.3%, CTS decreased by 1.15%, AGR decreased by 1.11%, TCI decreased by 1.01%, FTS, TVS, VCI, VIX decreased slightly. On the contrary, VND increased by 1.97%, BSI increased by 1.08%, APG, DSE stopped at the reference.

Similarly, the banking group closed down 0.51%. In addition to the codes: ACB, BID, CTG, HDB, LPB, MBB, SHB, SSB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VPB, VIB in the VN30 group mentioned above, other codes such as: EIB, OCB decreased slightly, MSB stopped at reference, NAB increased slightly.

Real estate stocks continued to be sold off heavily and closed down 0.45%. Of which, D2D decreased by 2.09%, HTN decreased by 2.3%, LGL decreased by 4.46%, SGR decreased by 2.84%, TDC decreased by 2.07%, VRC decreased by 3.77%, VSI decreased by 2.7%...

Besides, other securities industry groups such as: raw materials, means of production, distribution and retail of durable goods, consumer goods and decoration, telecommunications, and energy decreased slightly.

On the other hand, software increased by 2.51%, insurance, health care, transportation, utilities, food-beverage and tobacco increased slightly.

* The Vietnamese stock market index fluctuated quite strongly today, VNXALL-Index closed down 1.18 points (-0.05%), down to 2,173.27 points. Liquidity with trading volume reached 666.24 million units, equivalent to trading value of VND 16,459.60 billion. In the whole market, there were 165 stocks increasing in price, 87 stocks remaining unchanged and 207 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 239.54 points, down 1.79 points (-0.74%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 45.95 million shares transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND770,612 billion. The entire floor had 73 stocks increasing, 54 stocks remaining unchanged and 98 stocks decreasing.

The HNX30 index closed down 1.72 points (-0.35%) to 491.91 points. Trading volume reached about 26.38 million units, equivalent to more than VND544.476 billion. The HNX30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 11 stocks increasing, 2 stocks remaining unchanged and 17 stocks decreasing.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index increased, closing at 98.96 points, up 0.11 points (+0.11%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached more than 25.47 million shares, corresponding trading value reached more than 360.99 billion VND. The UPCoM group of stocks ended the trading day with 126 stocks increasing, 112 stocks remaining unchanged and 153 stocks decreasing.

* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed down 2.28 points (-0.17%) to 1,323.81 points. Liquidity reached over 672.32 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND16,083.15 billion. The entire floor had 156 stocks increasing, 82 stocks remaining unchanged and 278 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index decreased by 1.21 points (-0.09%) to 1,380.26 points. Liquidity reached more than 291.90 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND9,115.16 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 8 stocks increasing, 1 stock remaining unchanged and 21 stocks decreasing.

The 5 stocks with the highest trading volume are SHB (over 65.75 million units), VIX (over 25.07 million units), VND (over 22.56 million units), TPB (over 19.56 million units), SSI (over 15.06 million units).

The 5 stocks with the highest price increase were VCF (7.00%), HHS (6.96%), NNC (6.93%), PIT (6.77%), HVH (6.76%).

The 5 stocks with the biggest price decrease were DXV (-6.17%), VAF (-6.00%), DTT (-5.70%), ABR (-4.91%), LGL (-4.46%).

* Today's derivatives market had 171,005 contracts traded, worth more than VND 23,538.63 billion.
