Information about the competency assessment exam is one of the contents shared in the Exam Season Consulting program organized by Thanh Nien Newspaper in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Training, which will take place at Truong Dinh High School (Go Cong City, Tien Giang Province), this morning (March 29).

Taking place in the context of the Ministry of Education and Training having just announced the admission regulations and one day before the first round of the capacity assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University (morning of March 30), the consultation session promises to provide a lot of useful information to candidates.

In the program, university and college admissions experts will give notes on new exam and admission scores this year, surrounding the admission regulations and high school graduation exam guidelines recently issued by the Ministry of Education and Training.

In particular, school representatives officially informed about the school's admission methods, emphasizing some important adjustments related to the admission subject combinations, the conversion of scores between methods, and the way to register for admission wishes this year.

This year, the first round of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University is expected to attract nearly 128,000 candidates. The results of this exam are expected to be used by about 100 universities and colleges for admission this year.

In addition, some universities also organize their own exams for admission such as: the specialized competency assessment exam of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education; the computer-based university entrance assessment exam (V-SAT) is also organized at many universities such as: University of Finance-Marketing, University of Banking, Ho Chi Minh City, etc.

In the consultation program, teachers will have useful advice for candidates before taking these exams.

In the consulting program, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and University of Finance - Marketing awarded 10 Nguyen Thai Binh scholarships to excellent students.

Representatives of Saigon International University in collaboration with Thanh Nien Newspaper presented 600 copies of the 2025 Admissions Handbook to students of Truong Dinh High School, Go Cong High School, and Binh Dong High School.
