Construction continues during September 2nd holiday to ensure progress of Rach Mieu 2 bridge

A representative of the My Thuan Project Management Board said that the unit arranged over 450 workers and technical staff to work during the September 2 holiday to ensure project progress and soon complete the Rach Mieu 2 Bridge (connecting Tien Giang and Ben Tre provinces) as planned.

Technical staff and workers increased to 3 shifts and 4 shifts to ensure the progress of Rach Mieu 2 bridge project.

Accordingly, at the construction site of the Rach Mieu 2 Bridge investment project, there are 32 construction teams, with 147 construction equipment and 80 technical staff. As of the end of August 2024, the Rach Mieu 2 Bridge project has been completed 57.73%, basically meeting the planned progress. According to the leader of the My Thuan Project Management Board, the units seriously implemented the construction in "3 shifts, 4 teams", determined to complete the project as directed by the Prime Minister and the Minister of Transport, striving to complete the project on the occasion of the National Day celebration on September 2, 2025.
