Da Nang City leaders visit the Memorial Site of President Kaysone Phomvihane and President Ho Chi Minh

From March 31 to April 6, a delegation of Da Nang City led by Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh visited, celebrated Bunpimay and worked with the provinces of South and Central Laos to strengthen solidarity and friendship; discussed activities to support Lao localities in the period of 2023 - 2027 and promote people-to-people diplomacy. Accompanying them were Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Le Van Trung and Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi. According to the working program, on the morning of April 1, the delegation visited the Memorial Site of President Kaysone Phomvihane and the Memorial Site of President Ho Chi Minh in Savannakhet province.

In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation of Da Nang city offered flowers and observed a minute of silence to commemorate the great contributions of President Kaysone Phomvihane and President Ho Chi Minh to the revolutionary cause of the two countries as well as to regional and world peace. President Kaysone Phomvihane was an outstanding and beloved leader of the Lao people, a great and extremely close friend of the Vietnamese people. Together with the great President Ho Chi Minh, he laid the foundation and nurtured the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos.

Over the past years, the friendship, cooperation and development support between Da Nang and the provinces of South and Central Laos have had many developments. Continuing to promote the effectiveness of cooperation programs in recent years, Da Nang will coordinate with the provinces of South and Central Laos to comprehensively and effectively implement the contents of the cooperation program for the period 2023 - 2027; thereby contributing to fostering the special friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Laos to constantly develop, forever green and sustainable./.
