On the afternoon of December 17, Hanoi University of Industry announced some new expected points in the 2025 regular university enrollment. Accordingly, in the 2025-2026 school year, the school plans to enroll 7,990 students for 62 regular university training majors/programs according to 5 enrollment methods, an increase of 340 students compared to 2024.
The school uses five admission methods: direct admission (unlimited quota); international certificate scores or excellent student awards combined with high school transcript scores for all three years of three subjects in a combination (10%); based on graduation exam results (80%); based on Hanoi National University's competency assessment test scores combined with transcripts (5%) and Hanoi University of Science and Technology's thinking assessment test results combined with transcripts (5%).
Compared to 2024, Hanoi University of Industry will no longer consider academic transcript scores independently, instead combining this criterion with international certificates, excellent student awards, and test scores to assess capacity and thinking.
Regarding the admission combinations, the school plans to add a number of new combinations suitable for the new general education program, including A0C (Math, Physics, Technology), A0T (Math, Physics, Information Technology), B0C (Math, Chemistry, Technology), D0C (Math, English, Technology), D0G (Math, English, Economic Education and Law).
The expected admission criteria, methods and combinations for each industry are as follows:
In 2024, Hanoi University of Industry will enroll 7,650 students, with a benchmark score of 19-26.05. The average tuition fee for the 2024-2025 school year is 24.6 million VND/school year. The actual amount depends on the number of credits that students register for, the price is 500,000 VND/credit.
In the 2025 admissions season, a series of universities announced that they would no longer use the high school transcript admission method. In addition, many schools have drastically reduced the quota for this method or only consider it as a preliminary admission condition.
According to representatives of some schools, with the new general education program, each student will choose and have a transcript score in different combinations, so admission by this method is no longer suitable.
