On April 3, runner-up of "Sao Mai 2022" Thu An introduced her first music project - MV "Tu Than", filmed at the stage of the live play "Tinh Hoa Bac Bo" (Quoc Oai district, Hanoi).
Growing up from the "Sao Mai 2022" contest with the runner-up position in folk music, Thu An decided to continue to stick with this music genre on her professional singing career.
After a period of incubation, Thu An recently officially released the MV "Tu Than" - the first music product in her music project named "An" which she will perform throughout 2024. At the same time, she also introduced her new stage name - An Thu An.
The female singer shared that the song "Tu Than" was composed by musician Pham Viet Tuan, so it suits her voice, "color" and singing style. The song is inspired by Northern folk music, with a fresh, modern arrangement with a fast, youthful and vibrant tempo.

In the MV, Thu An debuted with a style that is imbued with folk colors but stylized to be youthful and in line with the breath of contemporary life. The female singer and her crew chose the stage of the live performance “Tinh Hoa Bac Bo” to make the MV.
“This is an art space imbued with Northern culture and a famous tourist destination in Hanoi. We hope that by making this MV, we will contribute to spreading the appeal of a very special nighttime tourist destination in Hanoi,” Thu An expressed.
Not only is the MV set at an attractive tourist destination in Hanoi, the MV also introduces the unique art of lotus silk weaving in Hanoi with the scene of the female lead weaving lotus silk. Lotus silk weaving is a form of weaving from the silk fibers of lotus branches to bring quality products. This form of lotus silk weaving originated from the traditional weaving village in Phung Xa commune, My Duc district, researched by artisan Phan Thi Thuan. Currently, artisan Phan Thi Thuan's silk weaving facility is also a tourist destination attracting domestic and foreign tourists.
“We put many cultural quintessence of Hanoi into the MV with the desire to spread the elegant beauty and unique culture of Hanoi people, attracting young people to pay more attention to these unique values,” Thu An expressed.
The MV "Tu Than" is staged and arranged in sync, from music, costumes to An Thu An's choreography, creating a harmonious whole between the two elements of hearing and seeing.
Previously, Thu An also won the "Talented Beauty" award and entered the Top 10 of the "Hoa Lu Beauty" contest (Miss Ninh Binh province) when she was just 18 years old. She is currently studying at the Military University of Culture and Arts.
The audio version of the song as well as the entire project will be released globally on Apple Music, Spotify, iTunes... and copyrighted by Warner Music Group (WMG).
