Comprehensive inspection of Anh Duong Kindergarten

TPO - The inspection team of Anh Duong Kindergarten has 12 people, led by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Huynh - Deputy Chief Inspector of Chau Duc district. The inspection period is from January 2022 to September 2024.

On the afternoon of September 19, the People's Committee of Chau Duc district (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) decided to conduct a comprehensive inspection of Anh Duong Kindergarten. The inspection period is from January 2022 to September 2024.

The inspection team consisted of 12 people, led by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Huynh - Deputy Chief Inspector of Chau Duc district. The members of the inspection team were deputy heads of departments and staff of relevant departments and offices.

30,000 VND meal for teachers of Anh Duong Kindergarten

In addition, Chau Duc District People's Committee also reported the progress of handling the case after Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial People's Committee requested to verify and clarify information about the food rations of teachers at Anh Duong Kindergarten.

According to the report, immediately after receiving public feedback on social networking sites about teachers' lunches, Chau Duc District People's Committee issued an urgent dispatch, directing specialized agencies to preside over and coordinate the verification of the content.

Chau Duc district also issued an official dispatch on providing a hotline to promptly commend typical advanced examples as well as handle negative issues, shortcomings, limitations, weaknesses... related to educational work in the area.

Previously, the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province sent a document to the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Health, the People's Committee of Chau Duc district and the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities requesting verification and clarification of information about the food rations of teachers at Anh Duong Kindergarten in Chau Duc district.

Accordingly, through information reported by the press about the food rations of teachers at Anh Duong Kindergarten being accused of being cut and not ensuring quality, the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province assigned the People's Committee of Chau Duc district to urgently verify and clarify the content of the above incident.

At the same time, Chau Duc District People's Committee organizes strict handling of violations (if any) in accordance with legal regulations, ensuring a decisive handling viewpoint, no avoidance, no cover-up and no coping; report to the Provincial People's Committee the handling results.

The Department of Education and Training of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province is assigned to preside over and coordinate with the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to direct and thoroughly rectify the entire education sector in the area, in implementing boarding work at schools, ensuring food safety and hygiene and the quality of boarding meals for students and teachers.

At the same time, strengthen inspection work, combine regular and surprise inspections, guide and require schools to declare menus, ingredients, and meals with full quantity to all parents; detect violations, limitations, and shortcomings to have timely and appropriate handling and consulting measures.

The People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province also assigned the Department of Health to direct the Food Safety and Hygiene Sub-Department to coordinate with the People's Committees of districts, towns, cities, and the Department of Education of districts and towns to regularly organize inspections and supervision to ensure food safety and hygiene at schools, especially primary schools and kindergartens with boarding schools; detect violations, limitations, and shortcomings to have timely and appropriate handling and consulting measures.

Previously, on social networks, images and content were shared reflecting that the lunch tray costing 30,000 VND of teachers at Anh Duong Kindergarten only had rice and 2 pieces of pork roll, with a little fish sauce. Some other trays had rice and a few pieces of stir-fried meat with bamboo shoots.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Ban, Chairman of Chau Duc District People's Committee, directly talked with teachers and staff of Anh Duong Kindergarten.

The post included the following content: “After posting an article about the reduction of children’s food rations and the persecution of whistleblowers, some teachers at Anh Duong Kindergarten sent pictures of their extremely poor lunches. If workers are still so reckless, what about children aged 2-5? Please do not look at the 30,000 VND meal of workers with such indifferent eyes. Please care and understand with your compassion.”

From the above information, the Chairman of Chau Duc District People's Committee requested the Head of the Department of Education and Training to preside over and coordinate with the District Department of Culture and Information to organize verification and clarification.

On the afternoon of September 17, Mr. Nguyen Tan Ban, Chairman of Chau Duc District People's Committee, directly had a dialogue with teachers and staff of Anh Duong Kindergarten (Ngai Giao town, Chau Duc district) to listen to their thoughts and wishes after the controversy over the 30,000 VND lunch.
