On October 19, speaking with VietNamNet reporter , the leader of Chau Duc district People's Committee said that the district inspectorate had just announced the conclusion of a comprehensive inspection at Anh Duong Kindergarten.

This is the educational unit that caused a stir recently about the 30,000 VND meal for teachers but only had 2 pieces of ham, which was reported to be poor.

Previously, on September 19, Chau Duc District Inspectorate decided to conduct a comprehensive inspection of this school, after a dialogue between the district chairman and the teachers to listen to their thoughts and feelings.

At the dialogue, many teachers burst into tears when talking about the poor 30,000 VND meals they had to endure for a long time.

According to the inspection conclusion, there are a series of shortcomings, limitations, and deficiencies in the school's operations such as: the implementation of democratic regulations, income increase content, labor contract implementation, financial transparency, etc., which still have many shortcomings.

From there, the Chief Inspector of Chau Duc district recommended that the Principal of Anh Duong Kindergarten organize to thoroughly handle the limitations and shortcomings; including implementing recommendations regarding the organization of lunch for officials, workers and boarding organizations.

Specifically, the school will publicly announce and refund more than VND 18 million to teachers and employees who paid for lunch from September 2023 to May 2024; publicly announce and refund more than VND 5 million to teachers and employees who paid for lunch in the summer of 2024; recover the amount that the school paid in excess of working days to a teacher during the school year; and process the refund of the remaining amount in the summer of 2024 (more than VND 25 million) in accordance with regulations.

Chau Duc District Inspector also recommended that the District Chairman handle the responsibility of Ms. Phan Thi Han Hue, in her role as Principal of Anh Duong Kindergarten, and individuals related to the limitations and shortcomings according to the conclusion of the District Inspector.

In a related development, before the inspection conclusion, in mid-October, Ms. Phan Thi Han Hue, Principal of Anh Duong Kindergarten, submitted a resignation letter to the Chau Duc District People's Committee.

In addition to the reason for resigning due to poor health and continued treatment, Ms. Hue also admitted that there were shortcomings in management and operations that caused internal disunity and that she did not provide timely direction in the matter of publicizing activities.

Speaking to VietNamNet , a leader of the Chau Duc District Education and Training Department confirmed that Ms. Hue had submitted a resignation letter to the district leaders, but it had not been considered because after the inspection conclusion, the authorities would handle the responsibility. Then, the authorities would consider allowing Ms. Hue to resign according to regulations.
