The office of the People's Committee of Ban Cam commune has expired and is being demolished.

Accordingly, the People's Committee of Bao Thang district has approved the liquidation of the office building of the People's Committee of Ban Cam commune (a level IV house, put into use in 1997) because the building has expired and is degraded (the old "one-stop" office is sagging and has cracked roofs; other offices also have cracks along the walls; a second-floor office has peeling and falling plaster, which is dangerous and unsafe). The form of asset liquidation is demolition and cancellation.

Recovered materials and supplies will be sold and paid to the state budget.

Demolition work is being accelerated.

Previously, on June 6, 2024, Lao Cai Electronic Newspaper published an article entitled "It is necessary to promptly implement the construction of the Ban Cam commune office building (Bao Thang), reflecting: The main office was built in 1997, after many years of use it has deteriorated, does not ensure working conditions but has not been invested in a new construction. All cadres and civil servants of Ban Cam commune (Bao Thang) have to work in the remaining building in cramped conditions, especially on hot days, affecting the operation of the entire apparatus.
