Visit and give gifts on the occasion of the traditional Lao New Year Bunpimay

TTH.VN - On April 4, the delegation of the Hue City Border Work Steering Committee visited and presented gifts on the occasion of the traditional Bunpimay New Year to the functional forces of the Lao PDR who are performing their duties in the border area between Hue City and the two provinces of Salavan and Sekong/Laos; deeply condoling with the Lao Party, State and people for the great loss of former Chairman of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, former President and former Prime Minister of the Lao PDR Khamtay Siphandone.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, led the working delegation. Accompanying him were Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc, Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, and Colonel Hoang Minh Hung, Commander of the City Border Guard.

The delegation visited and presented meaningful gifts to officers and soldiers of Ta Vang Police Station; Ko Tai Police Station; Border Protection Company 351; Border Protection Company 511; Border Protection Company 514. This is an activity to strengthen the solidarity and special relationship between Hue city and the two provinces of Salavan and Sekong/Laos in general; between the Hue City Border Guard Command and the border protection force of the Military Command of Salavan and Sekong/Laos in particular.

Through this meaningful activity, it contributes to building a peaceful and friendly land border between Hue city and the two provinces of Salavan and Sekong/Laos, together firmly protecting the sovereignty and security of the border.
