With the above advantages, Phong Dien Industrial Park has currently attracted many large investors to produce and do business, such as Scavi Hue Company Limited; CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company, Phenikaa Hue Mineral Investment and Processing Company Limited (Phenikaa Hue), Kanglongda Hue Company... with registered investment capital of thousands of billions of VND, creating jobs for a large number of workers in the locality and neighboring areas.

After more than 5 years of operation in Phong Dien Industrial Park, Phenikaa Hue - a company specializing in the production of quartz-based cristobalite stone from sand materials has always maintained a good growth rate. Phenikaa Hue also organizes vocational training, creating jobs for many local workers with high skills, working in a green, clean environment, with good income, producing quality goods, ensuring the strict requirements of demanding markets such as France, the US, and Belgium.

Recently, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Hue City, the groundbreaking ceremony of two projects took place at Phong Dien Industrial Park, including Creanza high-tech quartz sand processing and Dat Phuong super white flower glass production with a total investment of about 4,200 billion VND. In particular, the Creanza high-tech quartz sand processing factory project invested by Creanza CNC Materials Joint Stock Company, with a total capital of 2,187 billion VND, is built on an area of ​​12.18 hectares, with a design capacity of about 72,000 tons of cristobalite, 1.6 million m2 of quartz stone/year, when completed, it will meet the needs of the domestic market and export to European and American markets...

As planned, Creanza High-Tech Quartz Sand Processing Plant will come into operation in the first quarter of 2027, creating jobs for about 300-350 workers, contributing to promoting the production of deeply processed products from sand, using resources economically, bringing high-quality cristobalite and quartz products from Vietnam to the international market and contributing to the budget revenue.

In addition, the Dat Phuong Super White Flower Glass Factory project is also expected to create long-term jobs and stable income for many local workers as well as contribute to the local budget.

According to Mr. Hoang Viet Cuong, Chairman of Phong Dien Town People's Committee, Phong Dien Industrial Park is currently developing very well and creating momentum for Phong Dien Town to shift its economic structure, increase the proportion of industry to nearly 60%, create jobs for more than 13,000 workers, with stable income and form new industries, trade and services to support local development.

Create strong growth poles

Hue City Planning for the period 2021 - 2030 determines that the city will continue to promote the development of high-tech industries, such as manufacturing and assembling automobiles, mechanical, electrical and electronic products; forming a national multi-purpose mechanical and automobile center; developing supporting industries associated with logistics services, seaports, airports, and railways to create a driving force for economic development in the Central region...

Participating in the above orientation plan, Phong Dien focuses on industrial development and makes industry a key industry, on the basis of linking industry planning with regional planning to create synchronization and mutual support for development.

Mr. Hoang Ngoc Hoa, Director of Phong Dien Town Land Fund Development Center, said that in the near future, Phong Dien will coordinate with the city's agencies to expand Phong Dien Industrial Park from the current 700 hectares to more than 1,200 hectares in the direction of green, clean, and modern production. Gradually develop existing industrial production, at the same time, strongly develop industries with competitive advantages, such as: Construction materials production, agricultural and forestry processing, textile industry, supporting industry, mechanics, etc., to create high added value, meeting market demand.

Another advantage is that the east of Phong Dien town is planned to build Dien Loc seaport in the direction of developing port logistics services and cargo transit... Besides, Phong Dien is focusing on calling for investment in technical infrastructure of Dien Loc industrial cluster (CCN) (27ha) and Dien Loc 2 CCN (more than 20ha) in Phong Phu ward; investing in infrastructure of Son Xuan My CCN located west of Phong Dien, more than 71ha... These are all advantages and driving forces to promote Phong Dien to develop further in the coming time.

Thanks to the investment in synchronous transport infrastructure, from the Industrial Park to the Industrial Zones and Dien Loc seaport, there is a smooth inter-regional connection, especially the Phong Dien - Dien Loc route, more than 16km long with an investment cost of more than 730 billion VND, which has just been completed, is also an advantage for Phong Dien to develop the industrial sector.
