Officers and soldiers of A Dot Border Guard Station join hands to help border residents eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses |
That is the household of Mr. Tran Van Khua and Mrs. Tran Thi Ahor (Co Tu ethnic group, residing in Lien Hiep village, Lam Dot commune), who are farmers and are considered poor. On the evening of November 24, 2024, heavy rain caused a landslide, causing Mr. Khua's house to collapse; Mr. Khua suffered a traumatic injury to his ribs and Mrs. Ahor suffered a head injury. Currently, Mr. Khua cannot do heavy work, and Mrs. Ahor occasionally suffers from headaches.
Mr. Khua's house was affected by landslides. The unit's officers and soldiers, in coordination with local authorities and local forces, dismantled it and rebuilt a temporary house. Up to now, this household continues to receive financial support and labor to rebuild a solid house.
This is an activity to implement Plan No. 4617/KHPH-BĐBP-MTTQ, dated December 30, 2024 of the Hue City Border Guard Command and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City on eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the area.
