Create the most favorable conditions for investors

Dien Bien TV - On March 28, Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee held the First Meeting with Enterprises and Investors in 2025.

Comrades: Le Thanh Do, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Pham Duc Toan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Vu A Bang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Phi Song, Director of the Department of Finance co-chaired the Conference. Attending and directing the Conference were comrade Tran Quoc Cuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

Also attending the Conference were comrades: Giang Thi Hoa, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mua A Vang, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; comrades of the Provincial Party Committee; representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors; representatives of the Provincial Business Association, enterprises, businessmen and investors in the province.

Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Comrade Le Thanh Do, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The meeting is an opportunity to discuss, analyze, evaluate, fully and comprehensively identify the implementation situation as well as the responsibilities of relevant agencies and units in implementing the projects. Accordingly, the whole province currently has 1,330 enterprises; nearly 730 branches, representative offices, and registered business locations. In 2024, Dien Bien province has approved investment for 9 projects in the fields of urban areas, resort tourism, trade services and agriculture; up to now, there are over 210 investment projects approved in principle.

Representative of Hoa Ba Education and Trading Services Company Limited gave opinions at the conference.

At the Conference, businesses and investors listened to proposals, recommendations and raised difficulties and obstacles in the process of deploying and implementing the Projects. Focusing on: Exemption and reduction of land rent for the Ba Tuan Giao Flower Supermarket Project. Specific regulations and instructions on procedures for granting investment certificates; promulgation of development incentive mechanisms; grid connection and capacity clearance for projects under the Wind Power Plant Project. Early completion of land lease procedures and issuance of land use right certificates, access to loans from State banks for the macadamia development project... Leaders of relevant departments, branches and localities have seriously acknowledged and accepted the contributions and discussed and answered the opinions, proposals and recommendations of businesses and investors.

Provincial Party Secretary Tran Quoc Cuong gave a speech at the conference.

Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Tran Quoc Cuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee acknowledged and commended the important contributions of enterprises and investors to the socio-economic development of the province in the coming time. Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Quoc Cuong requested the Party committees, departments, branches, authorities at all levels, and provincial organizations to continue to accompany and support; proactively grasp and promptly remove difficulties and obstacles, creating the most favorable and best conditions for enterprises and investors to carry out production and business activities and invest in projects in the province. Focus on accelerating the progress of compensation, support, and resettlement of projects to hand over clean land according to the progress of investors; strengthen the inspection and supervision of the progress and quality of projects. For the Business Association, enterprises and investors continue to uphold the sense of responsibility, mobilize resources, seriously and fully implement the contents committed to the province, functional agencies, localities and people. Speed up the progress, complete and put projects into operation early to promote efficiency and investment resources.

Provincial Party Secretary Tran Quoc Cuong also suggested that in the process of streamlining the apparatus and restructuring administrative units, the province needs to proactively improve the staff of civil servants, especially the staff of civil servants and leaders who directly serve investment attraction activities. The authorities should proactively notify and fully inform all issues related to fields, projects, potentials and tasks to attract a large number of investors and businesses to Dien Bien.
