Dong Hai District: Disseminating laws on electricity to officials and people

On the afternoon of April 10, the Provincial Steering Committee for the Protection of High-Voltage Power Grid Safety in coordination with the People's Committee of Dong Hai district organized a conference to disseminate laws on safe and economical use of electricity and the protection of high-voltage power grid safety for more than 100 delegates, including officials of departments, branches, and mass organizations of the district; leaders of the People's Committees of communes, hamlet chiefs, and people of Dinh Thanh, Dinh Thanh A, An Trach, and An Trach A communes - (photo).

At the conference, delegates listened to representatives of the Department of Industry and Trade and Bac Lieu Electricity Company disseminate a number of regulations on safety of high-voltage power grid works such as: Decree 14, dated February 26, 2014 of the Government detailing the implementation of the Electricity Law on electrical safety and Decree 51, dated April 21, 2020 of the Government amending and supplementing Decree 14, dated February 26, 2014 of the Government; safety in using electricity in daily life and aquaculture; safety of high-voltage power grid works; instructions on efficient and economical use of electricity and security and order situation related to the Electricity industry...

The propaganda session aims to help agencies, units, organizations and individuals have basic awareness of legal regulations in the field of electricity and the work of protecting the safety of high-voltage power grid works, using electricity safely, economically and effectively; at the same time, helping the authorities and cadres and civil servants at the grassroots level to effectively apply legal regulations in resolving administrative violations in the field of electricity; determining the decentralization of responsibility for resolving related cases in the field of electricity and in the work of protecting high-voltage power grid works.
