The Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway project through the district has a total project length of about 28km, with a total area to be recovered of nearly 228 hectares. Up to now, the district has handed over more than 224 hectares, reaching a rate of 98.3%. Of which, sub-project 1 has handed over more than 95% of the land, sub-project 2 has handed over more than 99.9%.
There are currently 262 cases that have not yet handed over the site (a decrease of 15 cases compared to April 10), and 10/29 cases have had a decision to enforce the handover of the site (a decrease of 6 cases compared to April 10).

From this result, Long Thanh district proposed the Provincial People's Committee to allocate funds to support temporary housing of 3 million VND/case/month, one-time support, support period is 12 months for households with houses built on other people's land; houses built on agricultural land, built on land that is not eligible for compensation but has no other place to live in the commune or town where the land is recovered, not eligible for resettlement according to regulations from the date the household hands over the land. From there, to help households stabilize their lives while waiting for approval to buy social housing.
