Tanh Linh removes obstacles in implementing the project to eliminate temporary and leaky houses

Through the survey, in Tanh Linh district, there are 237 households that meet the legal conditions for residential land to support the construction of new houses and repair houses according to regulations. Of these, 30 are households with revolutionary contributions. In 2024, Tanh Linh district mobilized social resources to repair 19/22 houses belonging to households with revolutionary contributions. By January 2025, these 19 households had completed the repair and put them into use. The total cost of repairing the above 19 houses is more than 550 million VND. Of which, the Gratitude Fund of the commune and town is more than 230 million VND, and the socialized source from officials, civil servants and benefactors is more than 320 million VND. Thanks to the drastic participation of the entire political system, by January 2025, Tanh Linh district is the locality with the largest number of completed houses for households with revolutionary contributions in the province, with 19/43 houses.

Up to now, the remaining 11 households with revolutionary contributions have started pouring materials and building foundations. Tanh Linh district is focusing resources to complete the project before April 30. For the 202 households that are poor and near-poor, up to now, 15 households have started pouring materials and building foundations. Of the 5 households that are in other difficult situations, 1 has started construction. During the implementation process, the district has carried out many activities to mobilize more resources from society, such as calling for contributions from businesses, mobilizing civil servants to participate in support, and organizing charity fundraising activities. Thanks to that, many households in difficult circumstances have received timely support, helping to improve living conditions, improve housing quality, and contribute to stabilizing people's lives.

The project to eliminate temporary and leaky houses is being actively implemented by Tanh Linh district.

However, in addition to the achieved results, the district still faces some difficulties in implementing the program, especially the legal issues regarding residential land of some households. Currently, there are still 203 households facing difficulties in land use rights, causing difficulties in implementing new construction and house repair. To solve this problem, the district has actively coordinated with departments, branches and sectors to remove obstacles, support people to complete legal procedures, and create favorable conditions for program implementation.

Tanh Linh district aims to complete the construction of 100 new houses and repair the remaining 107, ensuring that all eligible households will have stable housing before June 30. To achieve this goal, the district will continue to promote propaganda and mobilize more participation of the whole society in the program, while closely coordinating with functional agencies to resolve outstanding problems. To ensure the progress of the remaining tasks, Tanh Linh district will synchronously deploy many solutions, focusing on reviewing and resolving legal procedures related to land use rights for households that are still facing problems, and coordinating with provincial agencies to approve the list of eligible households.

At the same time, Tanh Linh will continue to closely monitor the construction and repair process, closely follow the construction progress, and provide timely support when difficulties arise. In addition, the disbursement of capital sources will also be focused on to ensure that households receive support funds on time. Mobilizing social resources will also be promoted through organizing additional programs to call for sponsorship, connecting with charitable organizations and businesses to provide additional funding for disadvantaged households.

The cooperation of the entire community is the decisive factor in helping the district complete the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, bringing a better life to local people. With synchronous solutions and high determination, Tanh Linh strives to complete the program as planned, contributing to improving the quality of life for the people.
