Strive for 95% of victims of domestic violence to be protected and provided with legal aid

With the theme "Happy family, prosperous country", the plan focuses on thoroughly grasping and promptly implementing the Party and State's guidelines and policies on family work in the new situation. At the same time, it emphasizes the role of the family in educating morality, lifestyle and protecting the rights of each member. The Provincial People's Committee requests all levels, sectors, and socio-political organizations to step up propaganda work, raise public awareness of preventing and combating domestic violence, aiming to build a model of a cultural and happy family. To realize the goals, the plan sets out specific targets, in which 70% of households register to implement the Family Conduct Criteria; 80% of households are provided with materials on morality and lifestyle; 95% of people who are victims of domestic violence when discovered are protected, provided with legal aid and health care; 90% of the forces directly involved in preventing and combating domestic violence are trained in professional skills.

In order to achieve the goals set out in the plan, the Provincial People's Committee requires all levels, sectors and localities to promote diverse communication on press, television and social networks about family values, domestic violence prevention, moral education and family lifestyle. Integrate family education into the curriculum of all levels, with special attention to gender education, gender equality and skills to prevent domestic violence in schools. Organize communication activities in the community: seminars, dialogue forums, competitions, cultural exchanges on the topics of happy families and domestic violence prevention. Develop models of sustainable family development clubs and groups for domestic violence prevention in the community. Support livelihood models for women and children to enhance economic autonomy, contributing to reducing the risk of domestic violence. Encourage businesses to participate in programs to support workers' families, create better working conditions and benefits, etc.
