First Quarterly Conference of Provincial Labor Federation

During the implementation process, the Provincial Federation of Labor has promoted propaganda activities on the policy, objectives, requirements and tasks of streamlining the apparatus of the political system in the new situation. At the same time, it has focused on reviewing and assessing the current status of organization, staffing and activities of trade unions at all levels; developing a plan to arrange them in accordance with practical requirements. Up to now, the Project on arranging the apparatus and staffing of industry trade unions and equivalents under the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Project on arranging the apparatus and staffing of the Provincial Federation of Labor have been approved by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. Specifically, the Provincial Federation of Labor has been reorganized from 5 committees into 4 committees; dissolved 6 industry trade unions and equivalents; established the Provincial Party Committee's Agencies' Trade Union and the Provincial People's Committee's Trade Union directly under the Provincial Federation of Labor; and maintained the model of Industrial Parks' Trade Union.

In addition, the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions continued to receive attention and implementation. During the quarter, 3 new grassroots unions were established and 364 new union members were developed.
