Through travel apps in cooperation with low-cost airlines, Vietnam and the Philippines strengthen tourism connectivity.
The Philippines, a beautiful island nation in Southeast Asia, is one of the top destinations for Vietnamese tourists. According to the Philippine Department of Tourism, in the first quarter of 2024, Vietnam ranked 15th out of 233 countries with the number of tourists to the Philippines. In December 2023, Cebu Pacific (CEB) also launched a direct flight connecting the capital Manila of the Philippines with Da Nang, Vietnam, with a frequency of 3 flights/day.
Traveloka, Southeast Asia’s leading travel platform, has announced a strategic partnership with Philippine low-cost airline Cebu Pacific (CEB) to attract more foreign tourists to the country. Accordingly, Traveloka has deployed an application programming interface (API), allowing international travelers to easily search for CEB flights on the Traveloka platform.
