Strengthening coordination between Market Management Departments in the Central Highlands region

This afternoon (June 24), in Vinh city, the 17th Conference on the coordination between the Market Management Departments of provinces and cities in the Central Highlands and the 67th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Market Management Force (July 3, 1975 - July 3, 2024) took place.

From June 2023 to the end of May 2024, the Market Management Department of provinces and cities in the Central Highlands region detected and handled more than 19,500 violations in the commercial sector, with a total fine of over 90 billion VND.

On behalf of the leaders of Nghe An province, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh congratulated and commended the contributions of the market management force of the whole country in general, and 18 provinces in the Central - Central Highlands region in particular, after 67 years of construction and development. In the development trend of the country's economy, many difficulties and challenges have been posed on the front of market control and inspection, fighting against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods, and fighting against other illegal production and business activities.
