Market management force punished 759 violations

In 2024, the provincial Market Management Department (MDM) will carry out market inspection and control activities with a focus and key points; the implementation process will be regular, continuous and closely coordinated between levels and sectors. During the year, the MDM force inspected 1,239 cases, of which 759 violations were handled according to its authority. The amount of money paid to the State budget in advance is over 4.3 billion VND. The value of assets such as evidence and means of administrative violations confiscated is over 450 million VND.

Violations mainly focus on counterfeit goods and intellectual property rights; failure to post prices of goods and services at locations where prices must be posted according to the law; trading in goods of unknown origin; trading in expired goods; transporting animals that do not meet veterinary hygiene and food safety requirements for business purposes...

In addition to inspection and handling of violations, the authorities have stepped up propaganda work and signed commitments with businesses and business households to comply with legal regulations in business. During the year, the Market Management Force has propagated through inspection activities with nearly 1,300 visits; signed commitments with 347 production and business establishments in the province.
