Nearly 6,000 shoe products with signs of counterfeit trademarks were temporarily seized.

According to information from the provincial Market Management Department, through the work of managing the area, Market Management Team No. 7 and No. 8 have just coordinated with the Economic Security Department - Provincial Police, Thanh Thuy District Police to inspect the warehouse in Zone 8, Dong Trung Commune owned by Mr. Nguyen Duc Tinh and discovered 5,820 shoe products with signs of counterfeiting trademarks protected in Vietnam.

Through inspection, the authorities discovered that the products were shoes and mules bearing the trademarks “Adidas and image”, and shoes bearing the trademarks “NIKE and image”. The Adidas and NIKE trademarks were printed and attached directly to the products, inseparable from the products, showing signs of counterfeiting trademarks protected in Vietnam.

Market Management Team No. 8 proceeded to make a record and temporarily detain all of the above goods.

At the time of inspection, the business owner could not present invoices or documents proving the legal origin of the above products. Market Management Team No. 8 drew up a record and temporarily detained all the violating goods; at the same time, coordinated with the Economic Security Department to verify and clarify the case according to the provisions of law.
