New bachelors and masters of Vietnam Women's Academy shine on graduation day

This morning (July 1), Vietnam Women's Academy held the Closing Ceremony and awarded the second batch of 2024 graduation certificates to 27 masters and 182 bachelors.

Speaking at the Closing Ceremony and Graduation Ceremony of the 2nd batch of 2024, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Quang Tien, Director of the Vietnam Women's Academy, said : The 2023-2024 academic year has officially ended with many achievements in all fields. In particular, the learning results of the 8th batch of students and the 3rd batch of graduate students are quite impressive. 76% of the 3rd batch of graduate students have graduated, the rate of students graduating on time (including both batches within 4 years) is 55.7%. 243 university students of the 8th batch were awarded scholarships to encourage good, good and excellent study. Conducted 16 Academy-level scientific research topics, 7 faculty-level topics, 54 student scientific products were published, 1 second prize of the Ministry-level Student Scientific Research Award, 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 6 third prizes and 6 encouragement prizes for student scientific research at the Academy level.

In training, the Vietnam Women's Academy has organized training for nearly 3,500 cadres and nearly 20,000 female entrepreneurs and workers. In particular, in training, the academy continued to successfully enroll more than 1,600 students in the 11th course with significantly improved entrance scores. In particular, the Academy developed a project and successfully registered to train 2 doctoral degrees and added a master's degree for 1 major. In early 2024, it approved the opening of 1 more Digital Economy training major and 1 English-language training program in Business Administration.

Quality assurance work continues to make its mark with the successful organization of external assessments for 3 university majors and the completion of self-assessment reports for 3 other majors. Scientific research work has changed dramatically with more than 50 scientific topics and more than 300 scientific products published in 2023. In early 2024, 5 ministerial-level topics, nearly 20 Academy-level topics and more than 30 student topics continued to be reviewed. To meet new requirements, the Academy has drastically implemented digital transformation activities and applied information technology (IT). Up to now, many areas of operation in the Academy have had high IT applications, contributing to affirming the change and strong transformation of the Academy.

Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Quang Tien congratulated the new bachelors and masters on completing the very important study of their lives. He hoped that the new bachelors and masters, regardless of their working positions, would devote all their efforts to their families, communities and countries; continue to quickly accumulate new knowledge and new technologies to master their careers and develop themselves.
